Which is stronger for mid/top lane (mostly top)?

Kayle top doesn't really fit the current role of top laners but if you insist I'd say AP.

yea Liandry's is godlike on her, coupled with Void Staff she'll burn through anything.

Instead of that, get sorc shoes, liandry's, nashor's. holy trinity on kayle. I'm not a lich bane fan.

Instead of Dcap, get Void. Increases your damage more. Other than that, I agree.

Going to agree with this as well. Kyle has been in a strange spot this season mostly shining in the other game modes like ARAM. But AP is the way to play her right now

100% agreed with this. It's the only viable way to play kayle.

-Stronger Heal, Movement Speed
-Shorter Cooldowns = More Ult and Righteus Fury.
-More Mana
-High Damage Output

-Insane TTK - almost 1 shot squishies
-Tank Destroyer
-Aggressive early game

Ap is more reliable, Ad is much stronger.

Hybrid. Guinoo's rageblade and Wit's end as your core items. It's VERY powerful

Hybrid, especially since the nerfs. I play her with a pure proc-damage core usually seen on ADCs now with Wit's (stacks massively with passive) and Bork and Ionian and Talisman, and when I deviate from that I regret it often!

Imo if you play an AP Kayle(or any build with a Nashor's Tooth as first item) and you DONT complement it with a Rageblade you're doing something incredibly wrong. It goes so well with her kit and the "enrage" on the Rageblade will save you so many times you'll wonder why you never got it in the first place

Rageblade works with the hybrid Wit's/Bork/Ionian build I play as well. I find it helps most in very close matches.

Hybrid for the win o/

I love playing her as a hybrid with lots of AS. She is insanely powerful in mid game because of the damage and still good in the late due to her ulti.
items to take: Guinsoo's Rageblade, Nashor's Tooth and Trinity Force

In my opiniom i think AS/AP kayle is the best.

I think AP is most powerful build for right now since you gain benefit from investing to AP. Her and will become your main and powerful weapon with such items like and .
Hybrid built (your main items will be , or ) is pretty cheap but you may suffer some low damage overall in middle and late game.
I don’t like AD due she become extremely squishy with it unless you get some tank items, I really will not recommend it.

Imo, AP wins. She has so much burst and heal and her E still deals quite a bit of damage.

As Embracing said, and and are essential, you probably want to have , too.

Other items worth of thinking are , , , for example.

Sure that Morellonomicon is a viable alternativ item on her? If I'm not wrong, it would only activated through her Q not with the "range Boost-AA-spell" (when the enemy is below 40%) or not?
