League of Legends (LoL) Question: Can Scatter the Weak double-dip?

    Can Scatter the Weak double-dip?

Can enemies be damage by both a flung orb and the Scatter the Weak wave? I've found quite a lot of conflicting information about whether or not foes can be damaged twice by the ability, some resources say yes, none explicitly state no, but it's a rather significant point to just leave out. My own play doesn't suggest that it damages more than once, but if I'm using Scatter the Weak at point-blanc range I'm usually trying to peel and obviously not paying attention to whether the foes I stun and knockback are damaged once or twice.

This should be simple enough to test. Go into a custom with a friend and try it out.

Good point. Checked and it doesn't double-dip.

Probably impossible since both the Dark Sphere's are knocked back the exact same distance with the exact same speed so you can't hit a champion twice.

You can definitely get both the stun and the knockback, but I've just confirmed that damage is dealt only once.

I just said why that's impossible.

I think he means if it can deal twice damage if he gets knockback by Scatter the Weak AND stunned by Dark Sphere.

Sadly I don't know for sure.
I never notice any increase in damage whenever I do it so I would say no.
I'd imagine it being programmed to count as a single ability that it deals fixed damage whether you're knock back or stunned.

    But that's just a theory.
