I think that the tier list should be separated into each of the different roles. Having all the champions showcased in one big list makes it harder to single out one champion and it looks messy. Separating the tier lists can also allow each champion to be represented in the different roles respectively.

yeah you are right they can set the tier list based on the role but the problem is many people play with champs other than their role

I would because most of them are placed in strong tier where as very few are placed in best tier. If you this season win rate stats it is obvious that most of the champions in best tier would be in strong tier and champions in strong tier would be placed in best tier list. I think it is based on LOL gamers who pick when the play league matches. I beleive that this tier may depend on those fact also. If you see thosr stats it matches too. I'm confused right now. I don't know whether which one to beleive this or that. If you know what makes this tier list please do comment so that I could know how these work as I'm new to mobafire and im trying to understand things around here. If anyone could I would appreciate that.

Hmmm, since there's a voting system I expect it to be dependent on votes made by players. I'm not certain though. It's not the worst tier list. Yes it could be much better, but still I wouldn't call it awful. I personally don't think Winrate should matter much. If it depends on wr then it means most of the high skill capped champs can't get a good place (like aphelios, kat, fiora, elise, etc). I'm personally more interested in high skill capped champs. The default rule is that, all the champs are dependent on their player. How to play, when to play. high skill capped champs have more room for improvement. currently, I'm okay with "best" tierlist. I might have liked it better if there were fiora/kat/morgana instead of pyke. but anyway, those are really good champs. It's hard to make a tierlist for all champs.

I'm just upset that many people are saying that is strong. I main him i feel he should be reworked or buffed. Compared to all other champions in adc list. Any adc champion can counter in ease. When it comes to its hard for him to counter other champions alone. All other champions either have attack speed or attack damage. Only is neutrally maintained he has neither attack speed or attack damage. The worst part is this range is to short when compared to all other marksmen why is it like that?
you may have seen many adc mains they couldn't play that much. Even though he is fed, in late game he is equal to full build and champions with attack speed could shut him down in few seconds, thiugh he is fed he cant carry like other adc champions. Coming to worst part is he cant solo any adc champions, he always needs someone to watch his back if not he is dead. It is easy to comeback with all adc champions but only in adc list cant make a come back. Once he loses early game it is done. he cant even do damage in late games. I have seen many guides mentioned this and lol client puts him in the strong tier list. Until you play with him, it feels he is strong, once you play with him, you could come to know his true colours. Anyway thanks for the link. I'll follow that for champion reference.

I actually haven't seen any guide that put on best/S tier. I check different tier lists a lot (to keep my own tier lists updated) and he's usually in the "good" choices section. I think he's good enough. ofc there are better ADCs but it's the meta system... I usually play assassins and I find harder than most ADCs to kill. He's not a hypercarry but he's kind of safe choice. I haven't seen him on bot since some players play him mid/top recently. And he's doing good in those roles, without a sup. He got a nice mobility. I don't think he's OP, and I don't think he's weak.
ADC isn't my main role so maybe I'm wrong. However, these are my thoughts.

I could suggest you to play him and tell me your opinion. His ult is strong earlier but it is weak inlate even though you are fed it doesnt do so much damage. when ever i play against him my win rate is 100%. i always win my lane when the enemy team adc is .I find him the easiest champion to kill with any adc champions. with his mobility he can only dodge skill shots or escape. His main source of damage is q, as i mentioned he has short range, champions needs to be closer to him to use his q which is in favor of enemy. His auto doesnt do damage even though he has passive as double shot. Though the second auto has reduced damage on the same target(like 40%). But champions like , , , etc has paasive which does more damage in early and very strong in late. But only has mobility. Even his W is weaker doesnt do damage.

Well, and are OP and Jhin's really strong... Those obviously deal much more damage... I rarely play ADC and when I do, I usually go with , or . Honestly I can't give a accurate oponion with playing him a few times... I only played him a few times in ARAM. As I said, I don't think he's OP like MF or draven. He's good and safe. I only got ARAM experience with him and it's not enough. but in ARAM I felt like he's not as really my type. I mean, if I play with or (which are my favorites) I will feel like I deal damage anyway even If things don't go well. isn't in the meta. But yet, I think he's better than many ADCs. (like ,,,, low elo , low elo )

Champions like ,, kog'mow,,, are better in late games when compared to lucian where they do have attack speed and damage(which will be equal to though they have more attack speed than him). Its like they have both the advantage where I() have only damage and attack speed less than them. So at the end it is in favour of them to crush him.

I agree that he falls off compared to to other ADCs, but is one of the the strongest duelist in the early/mid game and has one of the best level 2 & 3 spikes as well as one of the best one item spikes. supports with CC are really good for him (like Thresh, Leona, Morgana, etc) and most of the times he can use his advantages before his enemy reaches late game. I suggest you watch some of his best players' plays. like Esports or twitch streams. I always do it when I wanna see how better players play with the champs I like.(I got over 500k mastery points with and I still watch most of the Esports plays that contain him). I think you're underestimating him a lot...

I do watch esports and twitch streams where they play but many dont pick him. Even i main i have over 400k mastery points with him and i literally watch montages every time i play because it encourages me to play like them. If i underestimate him, why would i main with 400k mastery ponits. But my point is he needs to buffed in thier damage or attack speed and damages done by abilites. If they do i could appreciate it and all mains out there appreciate it too.

hmmm nice.
I checked the patches and poor "Lucian" wasn't in any of them! (I checked all the patches from 9.1 to 10.9 and I only found a few bug fixes and such stuff. no real buff or nerf). I think they soon make a move on him... I think it's normal to want buffs for our mains... I waited a loooong time for a buff for and and at the end, they nerfed both of them xD

I feel frustrated when playing on top. the idea of kayle is to suffer from early game and rise when the late game comes. but they nerfed her early game even more. people usually try to destroy me before I can even have a late game. most top lane champs destroy her before she can even get to late game... Darius, Garen, Mordekaiser, Fiora, jax, renekton, anyone. they can all destroy her. The only reason I keep playing him is because I really like her character. It's really frustrating when a renekton freezes the wave in the middle of the lane and you can't even get close to him... as a kayle player, I totally understand how it feels to feel like everybody can kill you.
All I can do is to hope for buffs :|
or maybe just hope they don't nerf again T_T

Does community tier list reset after each patch? If not, I think it should because some champions are drastically changed.
Well if it would change anything... because currently this list is total nonsense. I wish players cared more about it.
Maybe a possibility to vote should be limited to users who have provided themselves at Mobafire or something. Like level requirement, idk...

Hey @ Lavi Sorrow!

To be completely honest... it's a feature we haven't touched in a looong time. I know a while ago we looked into ways to improve it but we dropped it for other projects, but hopefully at some point we'll come back to it and update it properly.

Thank you for the suggestions, I'll make some notes for when we get started on updating this tool!

It's not updated or relevant. and as you know is getting a buff soon so maybe he can still remain there.
I don't expect it to be so big though. (I remember that I used to play in top and jungle when he got released xD his damage was CRAZY

I couldn't agree more. I hope the people in charge of MOBAFire work on multiple Tier Lists dedicated to each role.

Honestly they'd probably sooner scrap it than rework it, there's already not enough people voting on the list each patch to keep it accurate, and separating it into 5 different roles would probably make that worse.

This idea is amazing but i would love that they put it in category s to d best to worst in each role (top jungle mid adc and sup) so that we know if its a god tier in that role or badin the other role.For example, Sion top lane is very gud but in sup his down a bit in tier list compare to the other one(my opinion)

That's the problem. I personally think sion is S rank in support but only A- in top lane. This should be organized into several categories.

Good idea, BUT in same way, so limited view as most players see this game. On support u can go peel(soraka, karmaI, lulu...) cc( nautilus, leona...) tank (front line or back, or as I like to call it bodyguard and find best for it shen and braum) so BASICALLY that is ONLY support position, and u have 4 more+ Chinese tactics so think again about ranking champs ;)

Yes as far as adding categories goes those are great ideas but the descriptions of the tiers is based off of application of the champ against its does based on situation. The less situational a champ the better the Tier. Not necessarily the rating of S or A. Also across all modes, champs can gain or lose their edge. So the more usuable that champ is the higher the tier.

ezreal do 90% from his skills and only 10% from basics, so ap will improve all his skills not only 2 skills, that mean more power and more damage, but is just my opinion, i not played ezreal from long time ago, but from enemy and ally who play ezreal in many cases ezreal ap is more powerful than ezreal ad.

Thanks for the suggestion! We definitely considered that but we'll have to figure out how to elegantly work it in (if we do). I definitely had the same concern, but I guess we weren't sure if it'd be too annoying to include every champ in every role tier list, which seems necessary since new playstyle can emerge and die quickly.

I have a suggestion (umm maybe it's 2 in one), any summoner icon will have above it the name of the champion, and below it 2 block , first block for main role and second block for the secondary role (as I expect champion to have 1-2 roles and not more).
The community will be able vote for each role of the champion and the one with the highest vote will be the main, and the one with the lower will be the second.

Champions will be ordered by they main role unless the viewer will ask for a specific role.

If you will do the update it would be something like this:

champion name
Champion picture
1st role | 2nd role

And when you vote you click and you have a table of 5 roles with option to vote on each of them

The community tier list is just a bit of a mess right now because of how it works. People don't keep their ratings updated, so the tier list ends up being far from reality. (And there used to be champions in the last 2 categories before.)
The community tier list's functionality will most likely get changed in the future to improve its quality.

Doesn't really show the meta... i mean, the number 1 top lane in the game is ranked as the worst champion in the game... something doesn't feel right.
