So, why doesn't Trinity Force get AP? Isn't it just a Duo-Force with extra attack speed now? I don't see where "Force" applies to the Stinger.

Jax gets far too strong once he gets Trinity Force, Blade of the Ruined King and any tanky item, like Randuin's Omen or just Warmog's Armor.

So many hybrid auto-attackers burtes can use this like Kayle,Jax,EZ,etc... is worth the price

100% on Corki, it was and always will be core for utility - ult poke dmg. Trinity TF ? wtf never heard about it. The Question is Kogmaw. IMO it depends on lane match up.

As of patch 3.11 Trinity Force is now amazing on Hecarim! His damage from auto attacks is amazing due to Warpath. Trinity Force is now a core item on Hecarim. It is his best damage item in the game right now. It gives him almost everything he needs and nothing bad for him. The spell blade on Trinity Force is great on Hecarim because of his super short CD on Rampage

When you look closely at Jax, you discover that he actually is a walking Trinity Force. Every stat on Trinity Force (except crit and movement speed, but those never hurt) synergizes with Jax's kit!

Hextech Gunblade is very nice on Jax, not because it directly synergizes with his kit, but because it amplefies the strengths that Trinity Force gives Jax.

Hextech Gunblade and/or Blade of the Ruined King already give you a strong slow. You don't need more, maybe just Frozen Mallet or Randuin's Omen. And, the combination of Guinsoo's Rageblade+ Giant's Belt gives you more HP, AS, AD and AP for less price. Of course, you loose the proc, but who needs that proc on Jax anyway.

My Normal 6 items build:

Why would you need Trinity Force? I think you can get Guinsoo's Rageblade already after Bilgewater Cutlass.

I'm actually of the same opinion. In a game with Jax, I built Mercury's Treads, Frozen Gauntlet, Frozen Mallet and was thinking about what to build next (in the end, I settled for a Guardian Angel, since that's what I usually get after Tri-Force) and I was thinking of building Statikk Shiv or Zephyr, so I basically had a more powerful Trinity Force in more items, built from Sheen, Phage and Zeal respectively, lol. I came to the conclusion... why not just build the not-as-strong, but slot/money efficient Trinity Force instead of buying 3 stronger ~3K items?

Well maybe its because i get WAY to fed early on haha
As to your question, I like Tri force a bit better.
1. I haven't used frozen gaunlet as much
2. I like they movement speed Trinity Force gives you.

Well, in S3, I've found that building Hextech Gunblade delays his game far too much. Not to mention that Blade of the Ruined King seems to be better for him anyway.

My only real question is - Is Frozen Gauntlet better on Jax than Trinity Force?
